TIFF | Essentials Lounge 7
This year’s Toronto International Film Festival or #TIFF16, was for the most part low key on my end given my work responsibilities that hand me tied up. BUT that’s not to say Daniel and I weren’t able to divide and conquer by having him take on the load of red carpets, premieres, pre & after parties and overall rubbing shoulders with celebs! Don’t get me wrong, I made my way to a number of movies, after parties and lack-lustre TIFF themed events. But if there’s one invitation, one-crowning-glory-experience and overall rager – it’s the annual EGPR Essentials Lounge.
As you can deduce, the media-focused lounge is in it’s seventh year aimed to make the TIFF experience for media that much easier. Relax, refresh and once the madness is over – restart. Marking my fourth consecutive year of attending it’s one of and quite frankly the event I look forward to come TIFF.
This year, stand outs from #EssentialsLounge7 include the likes of Smashbox (below successfully finding my foundation colour!), Italian-based outerwear brand COLMAR, footwear giant, Saucony & my newest hair obsession, KMS California.
