Toronto | Trump Hotel Toronto #TrulyTrumpTO
As some of may have seen throughout ALL of my (and Daniel’s) social media outlets – my sneaky and loving fiance planned an incredible surprise birthday weekend at my favourite hotel in the city, Trump Hotel Toronto. I’m not one to normally blog about personal experiences like this because I focus on fashion oriented news and happenings – but I had such a phenomenal experience, I had to share with you guys!
Every little detail from an arrangement of blue orchids (my favourite) to requests of red delicious apples and bubbly that Daniel planned out alongside the exceptional staff at the Trump Hotel.
Alongside the flowers was a sealed envelope with two tickets to Disney’s The Lion King Music and a full blown itinerary that Daniel had planned out. The first night entailed (per my request a quick dip in the salt water pool), drinks at Trumps’ SUITS Lobby Lounge (pic below), followed by an out-of-this-world dinner at STOCK Restaurant where we shared the AAA steak tartare and half dozen oysters. The tartare though, no words!
My main consisted of the Oven-Roasted Rack of Lamb (above) with potato gnocchi and old school mint sauce. TO DIE FOR! After dinner, we walked over to the Princes Of Wales theatre and watched the show and honestly, I just wanted to cry the whole time, it was so amazing. Après the show, we hit the hay and onto the next morning!
Early morning wake up call because Daniel and I had a couple’s massage appointment in the Quartz Crystal Spa with two of the spa’s talented RMTs, Stella and Kian. Honestly, if I could have, I would have just stayed there all day because the massage was life changing! I’ve had massages elsewhere and the environment, staff and services or on a whole other level. Very detail oriented and your satisfaction is paramount above all.
Lastly, brunch o’clock! With one of the city’s most luxurious brunch experiences I’ve had; STOCK offers a large selection of brunch options. As much as I dislike the word buffet, it’s the only way I can describe the brunch format at STOCK. With options from seafood to braised short ribs and customizable omelettes and fruit & charcuterie your selection is nearly endless. Oh, and if you have time to think about dessert after you’ve stuffer your face, their dessert bar is equally as amazing. I settled for the mini carrot cake this time around, because I was ready to be rolled out. Many of you know I can be a bit of a caesar snob, and the one I had over the weekend tops my must try/go-back-and-down-another list. And it’s spicy as hell! LOVED IT!
A HUGE thank you to Daniel for taking the time out to plan out this birthday weekend. I don’t realize how amazing I have it with him. I love you babe, so much! And a special thank you and deep gratitude to EVERYONE at The Trump Hotel — everyone there made me feel like I was the biggest celebrity walking through your doors. Truly, thank you so much!
