Look Book | Disney x Coach 1941 Collection
If you troll me on Twitter, I’ve had my two cents about the evolution of Coach and how it’s transitioned from catering to the Suburban mom & their canvas printed bags to going-back-to-basics and focusing on their design, quality and most importantly, LEATHER.
Established in 1941 as a luxury company with a clear direction on quality, attention to detail and a focus on travel pieces that stand the test of time; I’ll forgive them for ALL the canvas bags (that were charming at first) that became an epidemic for how often they were seen (not including the amount of knock-offs!) because this latest capsule collection is so fucking refreshing.
Executive creative director of Coach, Stuart Vevers is a huge Disney fan and frankly I love him for it because I’m one too and this collection consisting of separates, a leather jacket with a studded Mickey silhouette on its back, T-shirts and an array of handbags, backpacks, purses, totes & shoes. “We only did Mickey, the icon—it’s America’s leather house with America’s mouse!”
The collection is available at the Coach store in Soho, New York and at Colette Paris, and will be released on June 17 on coach.com and Coach stores worldwide.
