Ad Campaign | Calvin Klein 205W39NYC F/W 2017 by Willy Vanderperre
Calvin Klein has released its Autumn/Winter 2017 campaign, featuring the first ready-to-wear collection designed by Raf Simons.
A long-time collaborator with Simons, photographer Willy Vanderperre features 22 models clad in the Americana-inspired 205W39NY collection that Simons debuted back in February.
“The campaign is a study in art and artifice, of the real and the imagined, the mannered world of high fashion combined with a sense of the everyday,” the brand explains in a press release. “Ultimately, the campaign explores the cinematic and romantic outsider’s view of America, something of a dream world that has become concrete for chief creative officer Raf Simons and creative director Pieter Mulier.”
I’m liking this direction, a lot. But that’s no surprise when Simons is at the helm. What do y’all think?!
