Look Book | Patrick Assaraf PYA Black Label F/W 2013
Give it up for Canadian menswear! Nothing makes a wardrobe like basics and I’d know, mine consists of nothing but basics. They’re easy to work with, are interchangeable and allow versatility.
When discussing Patrick Assaraf’s PYA Black Label we’re not talking about that classic cotton tshirt or striped pull-over but luxury basics made with super-soft stretchy Peruvian cotton, minimalist knits with his signature 30-gauge cashmere or ultra-light Zegna Baruffa merino wool. This season, Assaraf stays true to his aesthetic – simplicity with attention to details and incorporates pops of colour and even fabrications like suede and other leathers.
This suede bomber jacket is probably one of my favourites from the collection – I love the minimal silhouette and the classic body makes it a piece that’s relevant for years. A must! Most of you would agree that this would probably be a more grown-up version of me but is it wrong that I’m totally into it? I’m getting older, my style is evolving – should I get it?
