Ad Campaign | Chanel Pre-Fall 2013 Paris-Édimbourg ft. Tilda Swinton by Karl Lagerfeld
Most of you laugh when we say Tilda Swinton is named a trailblazer when it comes to personal style, and in fact she is. She dares to wear things that unconventional and most of the time no one understands her, but I’ve been a long time admirer and she’s one of the few celebrities that I consider ‘fashionable’ without the help of an actual stylist.
It’s no surprise (although I thought Karl should have done this earlier) Lagerfeld has chosen her to be the face of Chanel’s Pre-fall 2013 campaign which the creative director has shot himself. Dark, edgy and progessive – just like Swinton and I adore this campaign!
What do you think?

Over and over, she retreats and reëmerges, carrying archival articles of clothing: presenting them, addressing them, inhaling them—inhabiting without wearing them.
Tilda Swinton has been chosen to star in Chanel’s latest Métiers d’Art campaign, inspired by the ‘romantic and barbarian’ spirit of Scotland.
