#WearCanadian | INLAND Spring 2017 Canadian Apparel Pop-Up
After missing the last INLAND Pop-up due to work responsibilities, I was pissed and irritated that I couldn’t show up and support friends, designers and the Canadian industry that I’m constantly advocating about. Back for another season, the INLAND pop-up returns to QRC West (134 Peter St.) in Toronto on Friday, May 5th 3PM – 11PM & Saturday, May 6th 11AM – 7PM
INLAND offers Toronto the opportunity to shop directly from more than 70 Canadian fashion, apparel and accessory designers while creating a platform for fashion industry members including press and buyers to meet and discover new talent. With the current state of Canadian, specifically Toronto’s fashion industry; a vital outlet to come together, elevate, support and build up our industry.
Now, I’m back from Mexico on the 5th (my birthday btw!) so I better see some of you on the Saturday!
“INLAND is a new vision for independent Canadian fashion and apparel, created to provide an accessible platform for designers to showcase and sell their collections in a vibrant, retail showroom environment. Supporting the Canadian fashion industry is shopping Canadian fashion,” said Sarah Power, founder of INLAND. “Businesses cannot survive exclusively online and there are limited retail options for local labels here in Canada. Consumers will always prefer the experience of feeling the fabric and finding the perfect fit.
