Toronto Fashion Week | BAILEYS Irish Cream Partner with Lucian Matis to Celebrate New Bottle

It’s fashion week here in Toronto and I’m kicking it off with a little preview of this collaboration with one of my favourite Canadian designers! To celebrate the unveiling of a stylish new bottle, BAILEYS Irish Cream and Matis have come together to create a dress made from the glass of BAILEYS Irish Cream bottles. The one-of-a-kind piece will feature in Lucian Matis’ runway show during Toronto Fashion Week, on March 22!!

Comprised primarily of pieces of glass from BAILEYS Irish Cream bottles, as well as other flat glass and multi-faceted beads, the dress took 125 hours and a team of three skilled workers to create. The work-of-art is inspired by the new silhouette of the BAILEYS Irish Cream bottle and the iconic ‘Double B’ logo.

“In all of my designs, I strive to make beautiful clothing that celebrates femininity and appeals to the confident, stylish woman,” said Lucian Matis. “The partnership with BAILEYS Irish Cream seemed like a natural fit, because these are qualities that the brand also celebrates in women.”
