Holy shit, Frida Giannini you’ve knocked it out of the park. Like, astronomically out of the park. When you get me at the edge of my seat in awe and excitement for a collection, a menswear collection – it’s definately a solid one.
With a return to classic styles from the 60s, Giannini describes her latest collection as, “Modern with a romantic soul.” Sleek silhouettes with hip slim bodies, accompanied by a lot of oversized Prince of Wales tweed – and lets talk about the pull overs though! Exaggerated knits in both crew and turtle neck styles pullovers are this season must have items gentlemen!! And it looks like the bulkier, THE BETTER!
Oh, and bringing back the military influences, Gucci serves it to us complete with metal buttons, enlarged collars and heavily structured outerwear! God, I can’t deal! Take a glance at my favourite looks – they’re sure to be featured in upcoming editorials. Trust.
