Look Book | The Diesel Red Tag Project by Shayne Oliver F/W 2018

Denim, denim, denim for days!! DIESEL announces the launch of the The Diesel Red Tag Project, a collaboration for the ages; in which teams up with some of the world’s most notable and coveted designers. Designers are tasked with creating capsule collections that’ll be distributed exclusively to retailer, worldwide.

“The Diesel Red Tag Project was created to foster a unique dialogue and interaction between Diesel and the fashion community. Each designer involved will merge their aesthetic and creative sensibility interpreting Diesel’s signatures: denim and sportswear. The results will be clothing and accessories that are ironic, bold, and brave at the same time.”

The debut collection of the Red Tag Project sees Shayne Oliver (formerly of Hood By Air & recently off of Helmut Lang) take on the iconic denim brand with his signature layered proportions, clean tailoring rounded off with slick styling.

“I love denim’s heritage and its American roots, as well as Diesel’s Italian core. This capsule is
really the language of Renzo, the brand founder. Refined razor-sharp denim aesthetics that
devours the excesses of trendiness,” says Shayne Oliver.

These two looks I’m here for, the right-hand one SCREAMS Julio!!

Frankly, a solid collection with design and a fashion aesthetic at the forefront. Great to see DIESEL still pulling out the stops!
