Fashion | Bulova Reintroduces the Chronograph C

As someone who has dressed men and women for various shoots, events, commercials or print ads, accessorizing has got to be my favourite thing to put on anyone. Whether it’s a sky high platform, a pristine leather tote or a hat that completes a look – I have to say my affinity for timepieces tops everything. I’ve joked that I can open up my own accessory store selling my watches but in all honestly, I rotate all of them regularly making it difficult to part with any!

I don’t really need to introduce Bulova, considering the brand is easily recognized but here it goes: Founded in 1875, Bulova to this day remains, as I said one of the world’s most recognized brands headquartered in New York City, with eight International offices and distribution in 65 markets. Still at the forefront of the timekeeping industry, Bulova is committed to advancing the art of watchmaking with extraordinary design, exclusive high-performance technology and enduring quality that upholds a tradition of excellence and meets the needs of global consumers today.

Bulova’s iconic Chronograph C is revitalized with a fresh new look & modern appeal for watch enthusiasts of today. The daring design of Bulova’s Chronograph C burst on the scene in the 70s—an era defined by decadent modernism and rapid-fire space-age explorations. The watch quickly became one of Bulova’s most iconic timepieces—and is now being reintroduced as part of their Archive Series. The first Chronograph C was only available for an extremely limited time, so this is an exciting reintroduction for everyone!

The bold red, white, and blue dial harkens back to the original model’s “Stars and Stripes” theme and boasts three subdials, a sweeping red seconds hand, and a tachymeter. Housed within the 46mm stainless steel case is an updated, high performance quartz movement with a vibrational frequency of 262kHz that keeps this watch primed for precision down to 1/1000th of a second. A brawny stainless steel case measuring 46mm and a notched bezel, the six-hand chronograph function is fully loaded with sub dials, tachymeter scale and an hours/minutes track. Finally, the watch comes in a special edition presentation box which includes a stainless steel mesh strap and a navy leather strap so that you can customize your look to fit any occasion.

The heavy-gauge stainless steel mesh bracelet allows the lug-free case to stand boldly.
