Whether you’re into the trend or not – the sportswear trend has made its way into menswear and I see it sticking around for a while. High performance fabrics that use to be necessities in activewear and work-out gear has seen its evolution and become a regular feature in everyday pieces and looks. From easy moving cotton-jerseys and moisture-wicking neoprenes, the onslaught of designers showing these fabrications in their collections has me rethinking that whole ‘I hate activewear’ mentality.
This editorial sees photographer, Damien Foxe gear up Rob Evans and Edward Wilding in the likes of Alexander Wang, Lanvin, Rick Owens and Givenchy to name a few in the season’s toughest sportswear looks – and doesn’t forget to show some skin!
