Ad Campaign | Saint Laurent Paris Music Project S/S 2013 ft. Courtney Love, Marilyn Manson, Kim Gordon & Ariel Pink
Honestly, I’m really liking what Hedi Slimane is doing with Saint Laurent. First with its dramatic name change that sent everyone and their mother up in arms, then sending that hedonistic debut collection and his dark ad campaign photography (whose photographic eye I ADORE) he’s been rounding off with.
Now, Slimane introduces the Saint Laurent music project which highlights some of music’s past and present heavyweights. Talk about appealing and reaching a COMPLETELY new demographic by having the likes of Courtney Love, Marilyn Manson, Kim Gordon & Ariel Pink in your new project – like honestly, Marilyn Manson and YSL?! WHAAA?!
The campaign sees the rock stars in the collection’s Spring 2013 line of leathers, tailored suiting and accessories. The campaign lensed by none other than Hedi Slimane himself.
