Alessandro Michele takes us and his Gucci aesthetic to a higher level – or in the case of the Fall 2017 campaign far, far, away! Shot by Glen Luchford, the campaign features the ultimate compilation of retro 50s & 60s science fiction scenes & pop-culture references includes the likes of Star Trek!
Easily recognizable classics that inspired the campaign are Star Trek, Creature of the Black Lagoon, One Million Years B.C., and Plan 9 From Outer Space. Gucci & Michele teased the campaign back in April with video interviews of notable models clad in full costume, now consumers are invited to interact with the label after they return to earth by tagging their social posts with #gucciandbeyond.
