Look Book | Lacoste F/W 2013
This isn’t the traditional Lacoste 12.12 polo you’re thinking about ladies and gentlemen, this is Lacoste’s runway collection. And a runway collection it is this fall season!
When we think of Lacoste we can’t help but think of that little crocodile adorning tennis bags, traditional polos and an assortment of lifestyle pieces that quite frankly, I’m not a big fan of. But when we’re talking about their runway collection I’m all in. Designed by Felipe Oliveira Baptista with a vision of taking Lacoste out of the tennis courts seems to be just that, a collection that resembles a polar atmosphere – iceberg prints and coats resonating sheaths of ice.
The men’s collection stayed fairly linear with a palette head-to-toe monochromatic and women, the silhouette was equally defined with exaggerated rounded tops; narrow, cropped pants; and leather dresses that scream, ‘look at me!’
This arlcite keeps it real, no doubt.
