I remember when I bought my first pair of skinny jeans in 2007! I was so afraid to wear them because I was used to wearing boot cut, and straight. So I remember the day when I wore them on the first day of school im September and every one commented on how they loved them. And from that day, skinny jeans has become permanent in my wardrobe. I havent worn no other type of denim styled pant besides skinnies in 6 years! LOL

I remember having this pair of garment died jeans in high school….you were supposed to wash them at least once before wearing them. But they looked so amazing – I couldn’t wait to wear them…it took over an hour in the shower to get the dye off of me at the end of the day! Oops!
I remember in high school we used to add a piece of demin (darker colour) at the top of the leg and then take the bottom in skinny Sounds strange but it did look pretty cool! A pair of diesel jeans sounds even cooler!
I only recently started wearing skinny jeans, before that it was all straight leg and bootcut. It took me 6 months between buying a pair if skinny jeans and actually working up the nerve to wear them… Now I can’t even remember how I even managed to wear other jeans with boots before. Genious idea! 🙂
I haven’t purchased a new pair of jeans in longer than I remember. I’m always wearin jeans with a story, usually acquired through goodwill or swaps. It would be a real treat to have a pair all of my very own!
I remember back in the day there was a khaki craze…after ppl made fun of my odd combination of wearing khakis and hoodie I switched things around and started to wear jeans in my 4th year of university. I still wear denim jeans that I bought from GAP a year ago every time I go out 🙂
I remember loving certain pairs of jeans so much when I was little, that after wearing them so many times holes would start to form in the knees. I never stopped wearing them though because the holes made it like a whole new pair of jeans again and I thought it was so cool! However, eventually my mom would throw them out.
I remember the year my sister moved to Canada from El Salvador, I was 8 years old. She moved just before Christmas. We had never met before and she spoke very little English and I didn’t speak much Spanish. But, we were both excited for Christmas. I had told my mom that I wanted a cool new outfit to go back to school with in January, so she gave my sister money to take me shopping for clothes. She took me to Eaton’s and got me a pair of jeans and a new sweatshirt. It was our first bonding experience in Canada, and definitely my favourite Denim Memory.
I hadn’t bought a new pair of jeans in about 8 years. When I finally did, they gave me a brand new perspective on myself and my style. These days skinny jeans make up the majority of my pants wardrobe.
I remember putting on my first pair of jeans that truly fit and felt great. You definitely get what you pay for and I looked great in those jeans. I haven’t found a pair that fit like that since. At least none that I could afford.
I remember buying my first pair of Seven Jeans…I thought they were the coolest jeans ever! They made me look slim, sexy and sassy! I have long legs, and I like to work them in a great pair of jeans! 😉
our Aunts gave me and my sister a similar kind of plaid and denim outfit one Christmas, mine were knickers (?!) and I loved them. my sister and I looked pretty cute in those outfits.
I actually not a big dan of denim when i was growing up, found it uncomfortable- but changed in jr. high- I have yet to own a pair of diesel jeans – winning this would be awesome! Will have to put my Levis aside!
I love Diesel jeans and I can still remember buying my very first pair! It was my first summer job in high school and of course I went shopping the minute I got my first paycheck. Those jeans don’t fit me anymore, but I’ve kept them because they hold a special place in my heart.
I was always rocking the flared jeans in high school!! I remember my best friend telling me that the bell bottom style was over done with and it was changing to boot cut and skinnies. I didn’t look good in flared jeans because of my height. They made me appear to be slightly smaller then I am. Im 5’3 (im a shortie and I love it!) So my first year of university I bought and wore my FIRST pair of skinny jeans. MY GOSH what a difference. All my friends complimented me and said it actually made me look taller!! (My heels will change my height but lets be practical and honest here- I cant be wearing my 4-5 inch high heels while running from lecture to lecture as much as I wish I could!! These diesel jeans sound like a dream and Id love to own my first pair! Thank you and Happy Holidays!
My absolute favourite denim memory was seeing a pair of jeans in a magazine that had one completely bleached leg and one denim leg… because we lived in Sudbury and there were NO great stores except the local WOOLCO and an Aldo shoe store… there was absolutely no chance to get them… I rember thinking I absolutely had to have them so I went out and purchased a rather inexpenzive pair of jeans and put one leg of them into a pail FULL to the rim of bleach and let them soak OVERNIGHT LOLOL the next day I hung them to dry…and its seemed to worked pretty well…except after they had dried and I pulled them on to try them out…the leg that I had soaked in bleached COMPLETELY FELL off !!!! All for the love of a small town boy wanting the COOL jeans in the magazines..
I remember altering my jeans in early high school. At the time everyone was taper pinning the calf/ankle so I cut mine up the side and held them together with large safety pins. Thems were the dayz.
