The eccentric style choice and design creativity of Jeremy Scott never ceases to amaze me! And I’m sure many of you are grumbling, “Julio, you’re nuts! This isn’t fashion!” Oh but my friends, you simply don’t understand Scott, his blatant disregard for conformity has made him a celebrity favourite and a bit of big deal with punks and the underground scene.
His use of pop culture, commercialism and this season, technology in his graphic prints and quirky designs make him a rebel in the mundane industry. Love his creativity and it’s always a trip to see what he’ll come up with next!

Those hats are unreal! Fashion’s darling star, Marc Jacobs showed his diffusion label’s Marc by Marc Jabobs Fall 2012 collectioning during New York Fashion week and I’m totally diggin’ it!!
So luxe colours and fabrications are the first to pop, like hi, that metallic gold trench! All over that shit! Jacobs’ variety in silhouettes are fresh too, from relaxed trousers to tailored suit jackets and outerwear. Love, love love!

Way to set it up Tommy! Hilfiger takes us a chic riding trip than their usual American prep star - the collection was something out of Europe than that of America!
With a rich palette of burgundy, browns and greys the Hilfiger aesthetic is having a turn for the better! Leather and shearling in outerwear are a total must have while the season’s armed forces trend is ever prevalent! But can we discuss these accessories?! Leather riding gloves and kicking it classy with riding boots - pairing of classic accessory always make for a regal look, playing up on the Aristocratic feel of the collection!

With Gisele Bündchen closing your show, you know you’ve made it! Seems like a military trend is popping up in collections. (Jason Wu, showed some too) Alexander Wang showed some great militia inspired pieces from his latest Fall 2012 collection.
Wang went back to his roots, working with leathers and that signature drape in knits! Netted masks covered model’s lower face channeling a little fashion ninja Wang?! I did it! Styled wonderfully!
The collection’s outerwear are making this collection - structured leather coats, embellished with military accents, sculpted sleeves and shoulders, mmm!! His minimalism just astounds me!
Collection | Prabal Gurung Fall/Winter 2012/2013
Prabal Gurung is the reason why I NEED to live in New York. Obsolutely obsessed - obsessed with him, obsessed with his prints, obsessed with his accessories, just plain EVERYTHING!!
Gurung’s use of psychedelic prints continues and it certainly doesn’t get old! Hello, electric blue, gold and black are sheer perfection! But his palettes didn’t stay there, shades of black and white also took precedent in the Fall 2012 collection. If his use of prints aren’t enough to get you, I’m sure his array of form-fitting, body hugging silhouettes will. And those puffed sleeves in outerwear, God. Please, all over!
Luxe coats with leather panels, and fur played up the sportswear feel, but Gurung’s dazzling gowns in metallics and feathered detailing round up the red carpet potentials that celebrities are sure to wear!

Can I get an AMEN!?! Jason Wu makes my toes curl in excitement, his form-fitting silhouettes are simply stunning!
Wu’s latest Fall 2012 collection during New York Fashion Week saw a solid execution of belted coats, accents of brocade, tassels, military inspiration and FUR! Regal elegance with a modern flair that only Wu knows how - the urban woman has just been told. Go big or go home!
But for real, those capes, wait, no - those fur-sleeved jackets! SALIVATION!
HUDSON Jeans gets all rave happy!! On February 10, during NY Fashion Week, HUDSON Jeans will be activating a Phosphorescent Invasion in the Meatpacking District in support of their upcoming launch of their LouLou jeans. The event will include street art installations and video projections, followed by a huge party at SNOOP NYC.
The LouLou pant are the clothing equivalent of a glow stick - under black light the tuxedo strip glows brightly - transforming your outfit into art. LouLou will be launching in Spring 2012 as part of Hudson’s fast track tuxedo collection with the “Phosphorescent” group in three colourways: Dark Navy with Phosphorescent Orange stripe, Burgundy with Phosphorescent Pink, and Olive with Phosphorescent Yellow.
Umm, that’s freaking fresh and this video is trippy! I love it and I kinda want one of the jeans too! Obviously the Phosphorescent ORANGE STRIPE because I’m currently obsessed with orange!

Ford Models, goes behind the scenes at Diesel Black Gold S/S 2012 show yesterday during New York Fashion Week.
Filming a superb video chronicling the backstage bustle of the show with interviews from models and their input from the latest collection. Some notable models include, Karmen Pedaru, Kate King, Maryna Linchuk, Erjona Ala, Anais Mali, and Christian Brylle are seen in their first looks backstage at Pier 94 in Manhattan for Diesel Black Gold’s show venue.

Runway - New York Fashion Week | RAD by Rad Hourani
Looks like I’ll be buying opaque pantyhose this coming A/W 11/12! And if you have a problem with me parading around in pantyhose and leather shorts then don’t look at me, because the PERFECTION that is the asymmetrical aesthetic of RAD is drool worthy!
Volume, layering and elongation were the key elements in the fashion forward designer’s latest collection. With accompanying signature draping and heels Hourani continues to push the “male norm” of dressing. We’d love to see more guys thinking outside the box, because honestly, your ill-fitting Hollister jeans and Armani Exchange t-shirt are mundane and incredibly unoriginal.
