Ad Campaign | ck one Colour Cosmetics Line

Calvin Klein has answered my prayers!! I’ve always said that Calvin Klein’s discontinued cosmetics line was the single most devastating thing in my life, why? Because I’ve never found a bronzer more perfect for me than ck One’s bronzer! It was all sorts of perfection.

Unveiled February 24, 2012, Calvin Klein, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of PVH Corp. [NYSE: PVH] and Coty Inc. the first worldwide advertising campaign introducing ck one color cosmetics, a full line-up of over 130 products that all capture the core ck one brand DNA – authentic, confident, and cool.

“With its fragrance roots, expanding into a color cosmetics line was a natural progression for the ck one brand,” said Tom Murry, President & Chief Executive Officer, Calvin Klein, Inc. “This latest extension embodies the energy and free spirit of ck one, offering fresh and unique beauty products that are ideal for today’s youthful, independent consumer.” “ck one has maintained its status as an iconic global brand since it first launched in 1994,” said Catherine Walsh, Senior Vice President of American Fragrances, Coty Prestige. “With the introduction of ck one color cosmetics we go beyond fragrance, addressing the consumer’s desire to define their individuality. The new campaign, combined with innovative products, continues the ck one legacy of authenticity and accessibility by connecting consumers with the brand in a modern and vibrant way.”

Lara Stone, Ruby Aldridge, Herieth Paul, Abbey Lee Kershaw, Eliza Cummings, Fei Fei Sun, Ehren Dorsey, Viggo Janason and Yuri Pleskun are all photographed by David Sims.

Beauty | ck One SHOCK

ck One introduces it’s latest addition to the ck One family - ck One Shock. Turn down the lights. amplify the sound. act on impulse, says the slogan which promises some sexy times for it’s customers.

ck One Shock for her: Opens with a fierce bouquet of passion flower, pink peony, and jeweled poppy flower. The intensity deepens with blackberry, jasmine and narcisse flower drizzled with a liquid chocolate accord. The addictive signature finishes with magnetic ambers enveloped in vanillin and patchouli, wrapped in second skin musk. So, in other words, sex in a bottle.

ck One Shock for him: Opens with pure freshness with juicy clementine and a crisp cucumber layer, while the heart pulsates with black pepper and cardamon spiced with black basil. a combination of tobacco absolute and ambreine emerges, revealing the skin-like creaminess of cashmeran musk and patchouli for a lasting signature. A brilliant marriage between masculinity and femininity!

The ck One Shock design invokes the desire to leave a personal mark of self-expression, defacing the iconic ck one signature bottle to send the ultimate message of rebellion. The new bottle represents Fabien Baron’s evolution of the 1994 ck one classic. The women’s bottle is a high gloss lacquered white with the shock logo scrawled in pink lipstick over the black ck one logo. The men’s bottle is a high gloss lacquered black with the green shock logo spray-painted over the white ck one logo.

The ck One Shock line up will be available next month in September, exclusively at Shoppers Drugmart and Pharmaprix locations across Canada, and will retail for $45 SRP (Suggest Retail Price) for the 50ML spray & $65 SRP for the 100ML spray.
