Those hats are unreal! Fashion’s darling star, Marc Jacobs showed his diffusion label’s Marc by Marc Jabobs Fall 2012 collectioning during New York Fashion week and I’m totally diggin’ it!!
So luxe colours and fabrications are the first to pop, like hi, that metallic gold trench! All over that shit! Jacobs’ variety in silhouettes are fresh too, from relaxed trousers to tailored suit jackets and outerwear. Love, love love!

Rising star, Elle Fanning and male model, Lowell Tautchin are the faces for Marc Jacobs’ diffusion line, Marc By Marc Jacobs Fall 2011 ad campaign.
Photographed by the usual Juergen Teller and styled by Poppy Kain, the campaign brings the style of the hipsters and the vintage rehash in a new light for me. Many of you know I CAN’T STAND that hipster, vintage crap! But one must always remember that Jacobs’ tailoring and styling has always been revolutionary as to the fit and is relevant and modern!

Eccentrics everywhere jumped out of their shoes when Helena Bonham Carter was rumored to be Marc Jacobs’ latest muse and face for the upcoming season! When it was confirmed I just about fainted!
HBC stays true to her eclectic style of theatre wear and quirky personality with a wave of dots and head pieces for the A/W 11/12 campaign! Can’t wait to show you guys the full spread!

Our favourite Canadian darling, Justin Bieber launches his first fragrance - and it’s not for men!
Bieber’s or Bieber’s marketing team’s latest project and cash grab is his first debut release of female fragrances. Excellent idea to sell your legions of obsessed fans! Just brilliant! Named ‘Someday,’ after one of Bieber’s song the fragrance will feature a fruity and floral scent.
But that’s not all, the same design team that designed Marc Jabobs’ Lola (see below) must have designed Bieber’s - that, or we have a case of doppelgangers -sort of.

What ever the case the thousands trillions of Biliebers will flock to snag Bieber’s latest marketing ploy!
The fragrance will range from $35-$55 USD depending on the bottle size and there will also be a hair mist and body lotion!

Look at this little rock-star daughter taking over the fashion industry! Georgia May Jagger fronts the ‘Fight Like A Girl’ campaign benefiting Fashion Targets Breast Cancer.
Made exclusively for the campaign Marc Jacobs designed a limited-edition tote featuring his iconic Miss Marc wearing boxing gear with the “Fight Like A Girl” slogan tank on. Too cute! Tote can be purchased online for $40 USD.

With the ever-promising weather reports, we are fast approaching patio season. What’s a better way to celebrate the warm weather than with a cocktail, dancing into the summer nights?
Marc Jacobs introduces three new limited edition Splash scents in Cranberry, Ginger and Curacao. Each sends you to a different global destination, but always in chic style by Marc Jacobs. Vibrant in color and crisp to the senses, these fragrances not only entice us to indulge in the simple pleasures in summer, but in life too.

Marc Jacobs Cranberry is a crisp, refreshing citrusy blend that is rich with flavor. This intensely sweet-tart scent captures the vibrant fizz sensation. The citrus fruitty fragrance opens with pink grapefruit, cranberry pulp, bergamot, and tangerine. The heart has ginger flower, honeysuckle, ozonic accord, and red currant. At the bottom, vetiver, icy musk, precious woods, and exotic woods compliment and warm this cool scent.
I can see myself rocking this scent mid summer with a floral dress, some strappy sandals in an outdoor cafe in the Distillery District. Very chic!

Marc Jacobs Ginger creates a spicy, saucy delicious scent inspired by an Asian flare. This sparkling citrus spice fragrance starts with fresh cut ginger, nutmeg and cognac oil. The middle has granadilla, gernaium bourbon, and rhubarb. The dry down is sandalwood, amber crystals and musks.
Probably my favorite scent, I enjoy all things Asian fusion, and one definitely can’t go wrong with Marc Jacobs! I also do not own any woody/spicy scents, so Ginger would be a wonderful addition to my perfume collection. I see myself wearing this scent during the colder nights of the summer at my favorite sushi and sake bar.

Marc Jacobs Curacao captures the sweet sensation of a summer in the tropics. The sparkling aquatic citrus opens with blood oranges, bitter orange bigrade, lime, and mandarin. In the middle is violet, pear, and apricot, the base has white moss,a mber, musk and sandalwood.
Curacao reminds me of a hot summer day on the beaches, Definitely appropriate to be pairing it with a bikini and a margarita in hand on the beach, or dancing the night away!
All three versions of Splash are available next month in April for a limited time at the Bay, Holt Renfrew, Sephora and Murale.
