Willy Vanderperre directed last season’s Dior Homme video titled The Wanderer, for the Fall 2011 collection, now the creative mind directs his next video for the house’s Spring/Summer 2012 collection.
Titled, Memoir, Vanderperre captures Chris Beek in this season’s key looks in a display of eerie modeling, and rather creepy cinematography. That music - CHILLS!

The video campaign for Dior Homme pairs well with the ad campaign. Again staring Willy Vanderperre and Victor Nylander the duo find themselves in a deserted road and field - a sort of chic outing let’s call it! Titled The Wanderer, the film and the print ads are a sort of acknowledgement of the digital age for the house.
Kinda creepy, but I love it!

In case you’ve missed it, Lady Gaga revisits her alter ego, Joe Calderone we were first introduced to back in the beginning of the year!
The latest apperance of Joe Calderone is for the latest single cover of the pop singer’s newest single, Yoü & I. Photographed by Inez Van Lamsweerde & Vinoodh Matadin, and styled by Nicola Formichetti (in Dior Homme) Gaga looks like a crazed Italian mobster. Love it!

In Case You Missed It | Dior Homme Spring 2011

Littered with caftans, whimsical clocks and drapped coats, Dior Homme is screaming to the gay demographic.
The plunging v neck and wrap style tops is so hello-I’m-here-and-I’m-queer. And we all love it! Look at that last piece, it’s a fusion between a coat and a cloak. it’s like a Cloat! Genius!
I do always look forward to Dior Homme footwear…but sandals are not my thing so on to Fall/Winter footwear!

Titled ‘The White Room,’ it is Sharif Hamza’s poetic rendition on Dior Homme Fall 2010. I fell in love with this video and just felt that it should have been longer or rather showcase the clothing a little more, but I certainly value the artistic take on this wonderful collection.
“Kris Van Assche’s fall 2010 Dior Homme collection is a triumphant affirmation of the house’s aesthetic for the new decade: clean lines, translucent layers of fabric, deconstructionist touches and oversized silhouettes. Quietly iconoclastic, it’s a tempting and elegant proposition for men who have grown out of their skinny jeans. The standout piece of the collection is the floor-length trench, a deceptively light garment that undulated elegantly down the runway in Paris in June. Unveiled under a ring of fluorescent lights, accompanied by the Sisters of Mercy’s “Temple of Love,” the piece mixes bold 80s power dressing with the swaddled folds of fabric Van Assche had witnessed in Indian dress on a trip to the country last August. The collection’s sensuous feeling of movement provided the inspiration for today’s film, created to mark the occasion of Dior Homme’s first UK flagship, which opened this week in the Westfield Center, London. The entrancing vignette is styled by Robbie Spencer and directed by photographer Sharif Hamza, who conceived it as “something like a fashion show that never happened,” setting it in a mysterious, bleached corridor (recreated from a Polaroid of an anonymous interior that had been lying on Hamza’s desk for some months). According to Hamza, the film creates a “dialogue without words,” in which nuanced glances and a slowly advancing zoom lens come together for a mysterious, cinematic experience.”
