Event | Style Exchange X Little Burgundy X Ion Magazine

The event was named, Keep It Real Or Fake It Till You Make It and to be quite honest, I do both in this industy, you people just can’t tell when I’m lying to you, yup, that’s how good I am - naturally this event was so up my alley! Ion Magazine and Style Exchange celebrated with having shoe store, Little Burgundy in-store of Style Exchange.

Style Exchange, originally a Montreal-based apparel boutique, the trendy and contemporary store has popped up all over the place with new or bigger stores everywhere. Not long ago they moved the Yonge & Queen location into Eaton Centre! So now, ALDO’s sister store Little Burgundy, has teamed up with Style Exchange and had a store, within a store. Trippy, I KNOW RIGHT! And how does one celebrate such a project? You freaking throw a party complete with stocked candy bar, drinks, Trannies, manicures and an eyelash bar!! Friggin’ awesome!

With celebrated lines like Mackage, Parajumpers, TOMS, Cheap Monday, UGG boots to name a few, a highlight I’d like to mention is Style Exchange’s in house brand, Numero. Canadian designed and made, the predominantly active-wear line (I know, you all know I don’t like this stuff, but the stuff was actually cute and fun! Hello, some had crystals and grommets, give me crystals any day!) features a range of hoodies, outerwear, accessories and smartphone cases.

Brought my friend Emmanuel along for the ride with a bevvy of events that night, he’s not the fashion industry and I was like, you ready to party and have a blast like I do on a daily?! You’re coming with me! Look at some of his pictures, he’s so friggin’ cute!

All above photos were taken by the event photographer, Jess Baumung. Brilliant eye, he’s shot the likes of Lady Gaga, Dallas Green, Nelly Furtado, and now me, great celebrity portfolio. Below are pictures from my Blackberry Playbook.
