I love collaboration, especially when they have to do with individuals in the actual industry! The latest collab was announced this past London Fashion Week during the Fall 2014 collection that model-of-the-moment, Cara Delevingne would be designing a collection for Mulberry.
“Cara obsessed over every detail of her collection and determined each element of the design, from the right straps and buckles to the combination of Mulberry’s signature hardware and her own unique touches. She visited the archives, chose leathers, sketched ideas, discussed customers’ practical needs and the trend for understated elegance.”
The Mulberry Cara Delevingne Bag is a three-in-one style available in three sizes, embracing Mulberry’s English attitude to functional beauty. There are 3 solid colours in Mulberry’s Nappa leather, 2 silhouettes in camouflage calf hair and a taupe classic leather with Lion rivets (the lion rivets reflect Cara’s personal lion tattoo!). Those of you that have been following my tweets or Instagram already know that the white camo is literally calling my name. Like I’d not eat to buy that bag. Really, I wouldn’t.
I’ve put together a look book format so you can see the bags in detail; price points start at $1,990 CDN for the Mini Quilted Nappa and $3,150 CDN for the Mini Camo Calfhair. The collection drops this September.
